Who COMLEX Level 2 Prep at PASS Is For

Level 2 asks you to apply osteopathic principles to real clinical presentations rather than recall them in isolation. It is a different task from Level 1, and students who prepared well for Level 1 are often caught out by it. Our Level 2 course is for DO students moving from the basic sciences into clinical decision-making, and for anyone whose rotations have left their study schedule in pieces.

The five-week program works case by case: how a presentation narrows to a diagnosis, where OMM fits into management, and how to pace yourself through the exam. You sit two COMSAE practice exams, meet your tutor weekly, and keep recorded lectures and morning questions for three months afterwards. If you have already had an unsuccessful attempt, the live program gives you the structure and the direct feedback that self-paced video cannot.

Dr. Francis’ Method, Applied to COMLEX Level 2

Principles You Can Apply Under Pressure

Level 2 asks where osteopathic principles fit into managing a real presentation, not whether you can recite them. We work case by case: what the presentation narrows to, what the next step is, and where OMM belongs in that plan. The reasoning framework is the one that carried you through Level 1, now pointed at clinical decisions.

  • Case-based clinical reasoning
  • OMM applied to management, not recall
  • Pacing strategy for the exam itself

Clinical Prep With Other DO Students

Rebuilding a Schedule After Rotations

Level 2 preparation usually has to fit around clinical work that has already scattered your study routine. Five weeks on a fixed schedule with other DO students restores that structure, and working through cases aloud surfaces reasoning gaps that silent review does not.

  • A fixed five-week schedule
  • Two COMSAE practice exams with tutor review
  • weekly tutoring
  • Other DO students preparing for the same exam
